This beautiful cougar, easily capable of killing a fully grown adult was photographed using a remotely triggered infra red camera - a few minutes from the Canmore Nordic Centre on Monday 30th January at 6.34pm. It's probably looking at me cross country ski-ing, as this was exactly what i was doing at the time - wildlife officials have warned the likes of me to exercise extreme caution in ski-ing at night with these creatures around!! This was splashed all over the front page of the Canmore Leader this week.
